5 Things To Know Before Doing Yoga

5 Things To Know Before Doing Yoga

which i would like to tell you so i have with me five points which are very important for you guys to know point number one ideally you should be doing yoga on an empty stomach but if that is not possible no problem make sure that you wait for at least three to four hours after you have your meal depending upon how heavy your meal is point number two it is important that you have either a yoga mat or a normal mat when you practice yoga poses or any workout especially if you are lying down on the floor so avoid lying down on the bare floor and ensure that you're wearing comfortable clothes remove all your accessories and then get started point number three you know

what's the most important thing when we are working out our breath work which means that you will not hold your breath anywhere but you will make sure that you are breathing in a slow and a steady manner certain things to remember whenever we are stretching we will always breathe in so every time we are stretching a muscle our muscle requires oxygen so we inhale similarly every time you will bend forward or whenever we twist you will be exhaling and make sure that you always remember these points no matter what asan or what exercise we are doing let's move on to point number four okay please engage your core is something which you must have heard a lot of times but what exactly does that mean

so how do you engage your code it's very simple one of the easiest ways to engage your core is to pull your belly button in towards your spine which means that we are basically tightening our abdominal muscles and now you will wonder how does that help us so it helps us tremendously because firstly it will help you protect your lower back secondly it will give you a good posture and a good form

which will make your exercise even more effective the last thing i want to share with you all is something we are tempted to miss out on a lot of times and that is the importance of warm-ups and cooling down of the body after we have finished exercising so how many times do you feel that let's just not do the warm-ups and directly jump onto our exercise so don't do that warm-ups are very important because they help your body you know kind of transit into that workout routine and they will help you increase your heart rate and also get the blood circulation proper

before you can start working out similarly it's very important to give your body that time and to give your breath and your heart rate the sufficient amount of time to get back to normal and yoga has a beautiful technique known as shavasana which will help you not only relax your muscles but also to relax your mind on that note i am looking forward to you guys participating in large numbers and make sure.
